About CloudStack
Citrix Apache CloudStack is open-source Cloud Computing Platfrom. CloudStack was originaly developed by a great team at Cloud.com, CloudStack was released on May 2010 as open-source software under the GNU Public License version 3.0. In July 2011 Citrix Systems announced the aquisition of Cloud.com and became the main sponsor of CloudStack project. On April 2012 Citrix announced to contribute the code of CloudStack to Apache Software Foundation under Apache License V2.0.

Citrix CloudPortal extends CloudStack
Citrix provides two additional commercial products on top of CloudStack, the CloudPortal Busienss Manager and CloudPortal Services Manager. CloudPortal Business Manager provides account management, pricing and billing, customer management and reporting, enabling to manage IaaS services. CloudPortal Services Manager provides out-of-the-box support for DaaS (Desktop-as-a-Service) on top of XenApp, as well as applications like MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, Lync, web hosting and more. CloudPortal is unfortunatelly closed source software!
